We at Boatsman Gillmore PLLC would like to congratulate Adam Boatsman for being named one of the Charlotte Business Journals' 40 Under 40 in the Charlotte area. The 19th annual 40 Under 40 awards were held on March 7th. The Charlotte Business Journal held a cocktail reception at the McGlohon Theatre to recognize 40 individuals under the age of 40 who are making major advances in their careers and having a positive impact on their communities.
Adam Boatsman's leadership for our firm is outstanding. He is a forward thinker who has embedded his personal philosophy into the firm's business model, which is to make a difference in the lives and businesses of his clients. Adam believes that if his clients' businesses are not growing and thriving, then he and his team are not doing its job as advisors. He also has a passion for Boatsman Gillmore being known as the firm that transformed the accounting profession from being passive and reactive to one expected to make an impact in the firm's clients' lives and businesses. In 2010, Adam co-founded the Make An Impact Foundation, which has a mission of serving projects that support local underprivileged children. Adam's passion and commitment are most appreciated by everyone at Boatsman Gillmore and the Make An Impact Foundation.
"It's an honor to receive the 40 Under 40 award," Adam Boatsman said. "I'm happy to get the award but I need to recognize my entire team at Boatsman Gillmore PLLC because it is a testament of their hard work. I’d also like to specifically thank my business partner, Dale Gillmore, for nominating me despite my protests and my wife, Julie, for putting up with me."
Boatsman Gillmore would also like to congratulate all the Charlotte Business Journal 40 Under 40 winners for 2012. Your efforts are making a difference in the business world and the Charlotte community.
