It’s the final countdown! Tomorrow is tax day, and our beloved bean counters (accountants) have been working furiously to meet the deadline. Soon, the flurry of activity surrounding tax day will end, and their lives will return to normal. We’d sure like to show our appreciation for everything they do!
Did you know that there is a day set aside to celebrate tax professionals? National Bean Counter’s Day (we’re serious) falls the day after tax day, and is aimed to honor the people that take care of our personal and business finances. Let’s face it: There’s not a whole lot of glory in accounting. This day of recognition helps us to recognize the work that so often goes unnoticed.
Which BGW associate went above and beyond for you this year? In honor of National Bean Counter’s Day, will you please give them a shout out? Post your kudos to your social media pages and tag us, #BGWCPA. Your accountant needs your praise! Bean counting is hard work, after all.
National Bean Counter’s Day was founded by Kevin Wenig, a CPA from Trumbull, Connecticut.
